Star Beam’s Poetry
So many stars, so little time to count each one and sing their rhyme..
to hold so many in your hand and live forever…
these pages are dedicated to my friend and buddy –
Starbeam
who passed from this earth and took his place among the stars as all fallen warriors do… go to the light my friend and may your brilliance shine brightly illuminating the path for the others who must follow
Now I’m Gone
Now I’m gone
It’s been so long
I know where I am - I can’t see the sun
I’ve fallen asleep - having finished the run
We both finished last
Neither future nor past
Drink in the moonlight so sweet
Ah, rest and repose, where nobody knows
Down where the bones are drying…
These poems are published with Star’s permission, granted before his demise…. hopefully Star’s mother will see the beauty of Star’s poetry and release his remaining poetry as per his request as well…. ah well one can hope.
