It Was a Rescue Day is now up on GayAuthors.org
Asked to look into the disappearance of his husband’s brother, Robert Atoll ends up facing his own worst nightmare – a family member being held in a Center that people rarely get out of alive. What is he to do? Nothing more than what any other family member with access would do – get him out at any cost.
It wasn’t quite as long as I expected it to be, but sometimes that happens. I think the story went well overall.
For some reason Rescue Day, Work Day, and Vacation Day are being elusive. I have exactly two months to kick out all three. That’s sixty days folks. Think I can do it? I dunno. Don’t really seem possible. Maybe if I just focus on one of them. Just one thought… but my head is so bouncy right now.
Focus is not my strong point, especially when I feel like I’m being judged. Glares at “Binding”. Honestly I’m not sure if I want it to get picked or not. If it does, then I’ll be happy, but if it doesn’t I can post it as a chapter story one a week for 8 weeks. That will put my readers in a good mood until the antho comes out. So.. happy readers either way.
Well, I don’t think it will do any good, but I emailed it. I’m absolutely positive I did something wrong. Twice as sure it will not be selected.
But. I sent it.
Well.. today is the deadline for Slashbooks. It’s 3 am. I just sent the copy to my editor. What do you think… will I make it?
