I Was Born

I had a very weird dream last night
a dream I know will come true
it had people, plenty of people
but none as nice as you.
I dreamed about these people in a strange land
they spoke a strange language I could understand.
They talked and talked for hours and days
then they told me to go away.
I went away to a land deep in my mind
where only I can find
life’s most happy moment of pleasure
life’s dearest and truest treasure.
I went to this land deep in my mind
and I was told — look forward not behind.
I learned to use my mind central
use my eyes and ears to their fullest potiential.
All night long I quivered and quaked.
I dreamed I woke up but it was faked.
Months and months went on this dream –
IF I DON’T WAKE UP I’LL SCREAM!!!!
All this learning I took in.
I found my mind was my friend.
Soon my mind gave me my leave,
but I found I had to retrieve
a part of me who would not come
until all my learning was done.
My heart would beat, my lungs would breathe,
suddenly I felt the heave…
through this tight chamber I did squeeze
Presently my head felt a breeze
Something was happening fast…
I could breath fresh air at last…
This is the moment of which I was forwarned…
One minute ago I was born.
