I write. Long, short, poetry, prose, fiction, not-so-fiction, sense, nonsense.
Short Fictionunder 20k words I grew up writing short stories. They are my favorite length of story to write, however, without a collection or major perseverance, they are difficult to market. Well, I found this site called Gay Authors and they liked (and encouraged) authors to write short (and long) stories. In fact they host a quarterly anthology, each with its own special theme. I have proudly participated in several and currently have at least one such collection in my catalogue. I like writing in several genres and I really enjoy the challenge of fitting a concept into the restraints as put forth by the theme. ![]() ![]() Longer Fictiongreater than 20k words I have attempted to write novellette and longer length fiction in the past with varying amounts of success. I will probably keep attempting in the future. The novellette length is getting better and while novella is still a challenge I can write a short one that mostly makes sense plotwise. ![]()
PoetryPoetry, in my opinion, is an art form. It is neither good nor bad and should not be judged as such. Poetry should move the reader. Incite them in some manner. It should give them something to think about, something to take with them. I hope you enjoy it. ![]() |
